Cartoonist Chris Ware is best-known for his graphic novel, “Jimmy Corrigan, the Smartest Kid on Earth.” In his new graphic novel, “Building Stories,” Ware lays out a narrative with no clear beginning or end that imagines the lives of the inhabitants of a three-story Chicago apartment building.
